Jennifer Fu is the Managing Partner of Amity Law Group. Ms. Fu focuses her practice in the areas of estate planning, immigration and general business law. Ms. Fu counsels her clients on matters involving trust administration, preparation of an estate plan in order to maximize estate and gift tax exemptions including the drafting of living trusts and irrevocable living trusts. Ms. Fu is also experienced with variety of employment based immigrant and non-immigrant petitions. Ms. Fu is fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Taiwanese.
Ms. Fu received her Juris Doctorate degree from Golden Gate University School of Law. While in law school, she was a Merit Scholarship recipient and studied at Peking University, Beijing, China in the University’s comparative law program.
Ms. Fu is active in the community and regularly conducts speaking engagements for a variety of community organizations on the topic of immigration, estate planning and employment law matters such as the Kiwanis Club of Hacienda Heights, Senior Pathfinders, Financial Planning Association of San Gabriel Valley, Chinese American Parents Association (CAPA), Chinese Association of Walnut, Sino-American Certified Public Accountants Association, Global Federation of Chinese Business Women as well as on an international level throughout China such as the Civil Aviation University of China and Industrial and Commercial Bank of China.
Ms. Fu currently sits on the board of the Rosemead Chamber of Commerce.
Ms. Fu is admitted to practice in all California state courts, as well as the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
Cindy T. Nguyen specializes in employment and business litigation. She also provides preventive counseling to employers regarding claims of discrimination, harassment, disability accommodation, wage and hour violations, ADA violations, misclassification, and other alleged claims of employer misconduct. Mrs. Nguyen represents employers in state and federal courts, and before administrative agencies such as the California Division of Labor Standards Enforcement and the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. She is fluent in English and Vietnamese.
Mrs. Nguyen received her Juris Doctor degree from Santa Clara University School of Law, with a Certificate in Public Interest and Social Justice Law. She was the recipient of the Richard S. Rosenberg Award for Excellence in Labor Law and the Santa Clara University School of Law Pro Bono Bronze Award.
While attending law school, Mrs. Nguyen interned at the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Her work at the EEOC involved investigating claims under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, Equal Pay Act, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and the Americans with Disability Act.
Ms. Nguyen is admitted to practice in all California state courts, as well as the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
