Cindy T. Nguyen specializes in employment and business litigation. She also provides preventive counseling to employers regarding claims of discrimination, harassment, disability accommodation, wage and hour violations, ADA violations, misclassification, and other alleged claims of employer misconduct. Mrs. Nguyen represents employers in state and federal courts, and before administrative agencies such as the California Division of Labor Standards Enforcement and the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. She is fluent in English and Vietnamese.
Mrs. Nguyen received her Juris Doctor degree from Santa Clara University School of Law, with a Certificate in Public Interest and Social Justice Law. She was the recipient of the Richard S. Rosenberg Award for Excellence in Labor Law and the Santa Clara University School of Law Pro Bono Bronze Award.
While attending law school, Mrs. Nguyen interned at the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Her work at the EEOC involved investigating claims under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, Equal Pay Act, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and the Americans with Disability Act.
Ms. Nguyen is admitted to practice in all California state courts, as well as the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
